How do I hide a package from my parents?

I’m going to order some fake magnetic piercings and even though they’re fake im afraid my mom will freak… My problem is if one of my parents is home and gets the delivery…. I know they won’t open it if it says my name on it… but the website name is probally going to be on the package( the body jewelry website). If it gets to my house when my parents are not home. I will see it when i get home from school.(No problem) Another thing if this package needs a signiture… To tell u the truth its kinda out of my control.. but if their is anything i can do. Please leave suggestions(:

Metal Detectors at the Airport?

Now i’m going on a flight to L.A to see a concert and then a cruise, but i want to bring a lot of metal accessories like chains, bracelets with metal charms, studded belts, chained shirts, clasped pants, make up, and a DVD player with clothing(of course). Now i heard from my mom that they confiscate everything metal and stuff, but she babbles crap…but that made me nervous, i mean my stuff means a lot to me and i don’t want stupid airport security to throw my stuff in the garbage like they did with my magnetic marbles -_- can anyone help? like what should i do to avoid them doing that and to go undercover, basically smuggle it in?

What should we get my dad for Valentine's day?

My mom just realized that she needs to get something for my dad. He spent nearly 00 on her. He got her a STUNNING bracelet, a huge bouquet of rainbow roses, and made reservations at this romantic Italian restaurant. Okay. I picked everything, but he paid. So it counts. She needs to get him something equally special (not necessarily equal in price). They’ve been together 29 years, and married for 22. He owns his own magnetic testing lab, so he is able to buy whatever he wants for himself. He loves to golf, he gives tons of money to children’s charities, and he used to be a rodeo rider and stunt man when he was young. He’s 67. I guess I should get him something too. The classic question: What do you give to someone who has everything?

Why can't diabetics wear hematite?

My Mom has these cool hematite bracelets she’s getting rid of. I really like them but they are made from magnetic hematite and I have heard that diabetics shouldn’t wear it, or at the least consult a doctor before wearing it. Why is that? I have good sugars and don’t have any circulation problems. So would I be able to wear them?

Hey there. I would like to tell you the basics about me.
. My name is Amber
. I’m 14 years old
. I am going into highschool
. Preppy not goth punk or emo ( no offense to anyone that is but you scare me)
. Responsible and reliable
. Gets good grades
. ETC….
So anyway before your like "oh crap there’s a lot of writing here let me giver her a half ass answer and hope she choose mine" please read everything and think about what I should do. Thanks.
Anywhooo for the past two years I have want to get a nostril piercing. Just a 1.5-2.5mm stud with a 18g bone/L shaft/U shaft post. I’ve done my research I know how to clean it and sleep with it, and also how to tell if the piercer is reliable enough to put a hole in my nose. For the past year or so I’ve been wearing magnetic studs to see if I was dead positive on getting my nose pierced. I am and I’ve told my mom and she said maybe wear the magnejewels ( what she calls magnetic jewelry) for another year or so and we’ll see then. I’ve made my decision to put a hole in my face and I’m not changing my mind. I also have very reasonable reasons to get a nose stud.
. It’s a feminine aspect to beauty
. Women look very classy with them
. I love the way the complete my face lol
. Not a hard piercing to take care of
. Show individuality and a unique personality
. ETC…
If anyone has gone through a situation like this and got through to there parents please help me. And please no rude or crude answers this means a lot to me. Thanksss =D
~~~*AMBER*~~~
i want to get a nose stud, but my mom won’t let me get my nose pierced yet but would allow a fake one.
so idk if i should the stick on ones w/ the glue or the magnetic
the glue ones stick for a few days so you couldn’t change it everyday…
i like the magnetic ones but was wondering if they ever fall out or move
like i rubbed my nose casually would the stud and magnet move and fall out…?? n does it really work. like look real with close examination?
gift getting etiquette?
If a close family member gives you a gift that you don’t like, or can’t use, do you tell them, or just take it with a smile and do away with it later (ie trash it, or give it to goodwill)?
The situations:
My aunt recently gave me a wooden shelf that had a stamped copper panel nailed to it, and hooks on it. I need some type of shelf for my bathroom, so it was given with that intent..but it was the wrong color, and I hate copper. My mom told her I would love it since I liked copper when I was 15, but that was about 14 years ago. My aunt said "I love it! I would use it for myself..it’s so gorgeous" before she gave it to me…so when I saw it, I said "Well, since you love it, could you use it?" She got the hint, and said she was sorry that I didn’t like it, but she would use it in her house…I told her I appreciated it, but it just wasn’t my style..I mean, I don’t need more junk that I’m not going to use sitting around the house. She didn’t seem offended, but later I was thinking maybe I was too rude by not taking it..
This happened on my birthday with my mom too. She sent me a bracelet, but I get eczema very badly on my wrists, so don’t wear bracelets. I told her that and she was so heartbroken (honestly, I’ve told her a million times, and I NEVER wear bracelets. She said she thought it was just because I didn’t own any). She was hoping I would love it, and wear it like a special mother-daughter gift..but really, It would have been painful to wear…should I have taken it anyway and ‘sucked it up’?
It’s too late to go back on it these now, but in the future, would you just tell people or take it?
thanks
Where to buy fake body piercings?
I would like to know a store when I can buy reasonably priced no pierce (otherwise know as magnetic) body jewelry. My mom won’t let me get my cartilage pierced untill I’m 18 and I have always wanted to experiment with the belly button piercing. Where can I buy these instores? I don’t really like online stuff
as in items(could be a pair of sunglasses that you mom always wore, or the seats of a car that you rode in, say your grandfathers car. )etc….recollections like these that you can recall..that were nice normal memories…with nothing negative tied to them!?
Sometimes something will trigger my memories…like when I pass by an eye wear store…I think of these red sunglasses my mom wore…that I always liked,or
I think of sitting on my rock in our backyard, in the sunshine, reading a book,,or playing with a magnifying glass and trying to burn little leaves with my initials in them(being very careful not to start a fire, of course!),I think of getting a little stuffed bear from Yellowstone park,filled with sawdust,and it had a little red leash strapped to the red collar,I also recall getting those copper "native american" bracelets..stamped with different symbols that I believe they still make to this day!
what about you all?
